I need to purchase a 1927 Nebraska plate for my Model T. It must be in usable condition, since the state DMV will inspect it, before it can go on the car.

George,

Check with the McArdle relatives or Fred Roza or PJ Theissen there in Elkhorn.

Mike Vaughn or Rob Heyen in the Lincoln area may know where to find one.

George, I have found many year of manufacture plates at reasonable prices in antique stores/malls. In the antique malls it seems like there is almost always a vender or two with a lot of old plates for sale.

I acquired several sets of Iowa plates for our Model A and T Fords through eBay in the early 2000's. Do a search within eBay for Nebraska license plates and see what pops up.

Thanks to all who replied. I found out that we have a swap meet this weekend, in Fremont. Hope to find a plate.

I saw a couple in an antique store today in Lincoln but I thought they were too expensive. They were asking around $70.

George
I am glad you found a plate. What county number were you able to get?
