As I am in the stages of preparing my car for new paint, several of the hinges were loose. My tudor was made in Canada and mostly has size 10-24 oval head Robertson screws - there are a few slotted head screws that must be replacements. Underneath them are #10 Star Countersunk Lock Washers, of which all of the screws have. These are not the same style that Langs sells and the type that I have is still available.
For you tudor owners, what kind of washers do you have on your car? Were the Canadian cars different? Thanks.
We restored a 1926 coupe and it has the countersunk star washers. Leon
Mac's has them $2.95 a set, a set does 3 hinges
Where did you find it? I have tried in vain on Mac's site and cannot locate them. I have typed in "hinge," "door," "star washer," "washer," - nothing. When I type "door hinge," I get a can of silver cadmium spray paint. Thanks!
Here you go
Thanks. I see that they had them under Model A instead of Model t.
I have a Canadian two door it has Robertson screws in the hinges
I found them under Model T, under the "Ford Model T & TT interior trim parts". on pages 6 & 7
