So I just got a Fordson buzz saw. It is 3 point hitch mounted. It has the pto adapter that has the same size pulley as the arbor on the saw. But I dont see how to tension the belt. Is there a lever of sorts to engage power to the saw arbor? Its in almost new condition. Most of the paint is still on the pulleys and the teeth on the blade show very little use. By no means a expert but do you raise the 3 point and install the belt with the weight of the buzz rig to tighten the belt when lowered?? Many years ago i used fast hitch to mount one on a 200 int.I used 3 v belts to drive.Bud in Wheeler,Mi.
