Sometimes it is in the genes...
Growing up, my son got to T it whenever the T was out and about, all the way back to when the terrible two's needed a nap...
Getting older, he borrowed his Grandfathers T to join me in whatever local parade I chose to attend...
When Grand-pop passed, my son then had his own T and it has been down for the count for a bit and I'll get into it this coming fall for him...
He is building and opening a new Nissan dealership on Michigan Ave in Dearborn, so spending all his time right now out there...
He knocked on the front door this morning at 8, surprise, parade time for sure and he wanted to parade with Dad . He got to drive it home and let me say this...
-It's great to have your kid who is closer to 40 than anything else want to go for a ride with Dad in a parade in the T...
-He almost swelled up when I told him to drive it home...
-For the first time in near 40 years, I got to ride in the co-pilot seat and actually smell the flowers on the way home! (He drives pretty good too)
Got to love good family!
Nice time for Jeff & George !!
