I installed new lace on the firewall and now for the radiator shell. there are no holes for split rivets like the firewall. what am I missing ? thanks. Ken

There are holes/slots where the lace goes.If you look in your shop manual,there are pictures showing this. You start at the top,in the center and weave it down both sides ,then cut off the excess.

Ken there should be holes in the radiator shell to weave the lace thru. Similar to a shoelace. If your shell has no holes it may be one of the aftermarket or repro shells.

There are two different styles of holes in the radiator shells for the lacing, but they both work the same.

Thanks Jack, Donnie and Larry for your help. I have the model t service book for a lot of information and a few other books that are very helpful but I just could not find anything on the shell lace. thanks for guys like you to bail me out . Ken
