I was breezing through the net to get my next speedster idea when I saw a yellow four seat, fendered speedster type car. Now I can't find it. Any ideas where I saw it, maybe or have photo's of such a thing? Thanks
Have you looked over the MTFCI speedster forum ?
There's a thread with just pics of original speedsters, you might find what you're looking for there..http://www.modelt.org/mtfcivb/showthread.php/16-Authentic-original-speedster-pic tures
This car fits your description, owned by forum member richard eagle
Tyrone T, When I read the first line of your post, the car pictured by David M was the first thing that came to my mind. I am glad he could post a picture of it, because I am not that good at finding and post photos (although I do try sometimes).
That is it Dave, Thank you so very much. Thank you all for your help.
Super easy, it was posted before so already resized. I too love that car and saved it. Lots of pics of it have been posted. Richard Eagle is ultra talented and builds great cars from very little with amazing detail. Maybe he will post a ton about the car on this thread and it can be just about his car. It sure deserves it!
Tyrone,I am pretty sure that same car featured as a cover girl on the Vintage Ford magazine years ago. Possibly 1980's??? Richard will know for sure. It was a nice picture and will show you lots of up close detail.
The thread says looking for a speedster photo, so I'm looking for other photos of an ABC speedster. There are lots of ads and even catalogs for the ABC, but few photos. I found this one among all the photos at the other site. Is there a larger version? Any idea when and where it was taken? It is the first photo I've seen besides the other one which is my car.
For comparison, here is a photo of my car taken in the early 1950's. Note they both have the distinctive trunk lid and windshield. Mine has fenders, which was an option and those ugly 16 inch wheels (long gone). I'd like other photos if anyone runs across one. Here is all the info I have on the ABC - http://www.mtfctulsa.com/ABC_Bodies

Glenn Embree photographed my car for the Vintage Ford magazine twice. It was on the back cover Vol. 15, No.4 July-Aug 1980 and full cover Vol. 28 No. 1 Jan-Feb 1993. We were fortunate to have Glenn and his wife living in Rexburg, ID for his last few years. He was a wonderful man and told such great stories with his photo's. The 1993 cover featured his airplane in the background.

P. S. The above photo David M. re-posted was taken descending Pikes Peak in 1990 on a Glidden Tour.
