In one of our T's we have Firestone POLONIUM Plugs . Can they be dangerous ??

If you read up on the plugs, they only had a 138 day life with the radioactive polonium, made in 1940, so I think you won't glow in the dark with them now.

Frank is correct but I always tell parents with children that my T is fitted with Polonium plugs together with a brief outline of how Polonium was used to take down an ex-KGB agent in London in 2006. Parents seem more interested in stopping their kids jumping all over the car after hearing that.

A sign saying the following helps too:


CAUTION : This car is fitted with RADIOACTIVE Polonium spark plugs.

1/2 life means 1/2 of the atoms of polonium might decompose in X amount of time, then maybe 1/2 of the 1/2 will decompose in X amount of time and so on and so forth. Or something VERY close to that.
