I am building a speedster and thinking about using a model A rear end. Has anyone on this site ever done that ? Thanks Al
Would that not throw you into two spare tires?? Bud in Wheeler,Mi.
Albert, i ran across this vid awhile back, found it to be pretty interesting. Maybe it can give you some ideas.
Thanks for the link. Good video.
Thanks John, now you got me thinking about an A transmission also. Actually I have the car build just want better brakes.
The std. model A rear end is 3.78:1 or you could get 3.54 gears to get closer to the T's 3.6:1
The A rear end not only has brakes but you can buy everything to use '39 to '48 Hydraulic brakes on the A rear end. and if need be, you can buy cast iron model A drums.
Thanks Aaron,for the good advise.
