Just wondering what the going clearance between the tappet and the valve stem
I never had good results be valve timing by piston travel so I heard .010 to .015 just wondering what's a good number set them across the board?
I suppose you have modern adjustable tappets and modern valves?
I use. 010-.011 on the intakes and . 011-.013 on the exhausts. Works fine.

I think it might depend on the camshaft you have. Different vendors have differing recommendations. I know that Stipe recommends .010 clearance, whereas Chaffin recommends .015 on their re-grinds. No difference on the intake or exhaust clearances.
Well not sure why double post but I going set.13 and see how they are in regards to rotation go up or down from there if need be
