What is the thread on the tie rod end ? I have 11/16" of toe out so I need to move the end out about 5/16" any idea how many turns ?
Figured it out, one full turn moves the felloe 1/8".
I saw a forum thread where the thread on the tie rod was discussed - it's 11/16", 24tpi, and the tie rod end has to be adjusted one full revolution a time, so to adjust about 5/16" you'll have to turn 7 or 8 turns, I think.
Rick is right -- One turn = about 1/8" at the felloe/tire.
Roger, thanks I did two turns and changed 1/4" at the felloe.i will measure again and check the toe.
Yep of course , 1/24" at the tie rod is 1/8" out at the felloe due to leverage
