using a new day timer, how should I set the timing?
I know there is a thread out there, But I can't find it.
will some one point me in the right direction.

Put

"Set timing MTFCA"

without the quotes in your Google search window, press the enter button, and you'll be presented with enough threads to last two, maybe three cups of coffee - and a jelly doughnut!

Set it so that with the spark lever all the way up, the engine begins to fire just after TDC. This the case for any timer. If you feel the need to be more accurate, I believe the proper adjustment is 15-1/2 degrees ATDC, but "Just" after is what I use.
