I have a parts list dated July 1, 1927 and it lists part numbers 2118 and 2119 used in 1924 to 1927 years. They are crankcase flange reinforcements right and left.

A club member says his 1926 vehicle did not have them. Were they standard equipment on all 1924 through 1927 vehicles? Also the bolts need to be longer (is 1 1/8 inch between bottom of bolt head and center of cotter pin hole the correct length bolt?.) in the area of the reinforcement attachments?

Yes and yes! :-) The original length bolts might still work but I don't think the bolt goes all the way through the nut with a lock washer. By time the corner braces came out Ford stopped using cotter pins in the crankcase bolts and used lock washers. (1924 or 1925)
