Interesting way to carry a set of spare tires.
A 1924 or '25 with non demount-able tires and the new oil tail light. (small red lens) Plus an electric light. Interesting. Everything but the kitchen sink. I like it.

People were very resourceful back then. Probably moving cross-country in search of a better life. Can even imagine people traveling like that nowadays? Cripes, we can't go 10 miles without the A/C blaring away enough to hang meat in the car!!
No kidding Tim. AC full blast with dual controls, CD player for those in the front seat and a DVD movie going for the kids in the back seat.
The two guys in this photo would have probably been bewildered by it all.
I notice the car also has the parking lamp on the rear fender. Those were required in limited areas of the country, including Washington DC, but of course available to anyone.
Very interesting photo!
Thank you Jay!
Drive carefully, and enjoy, W2
Double side mount. Now that's class.

Tim and Henry, we don't miss what we never had. Those people were probably happy that they did't have to hitch up a team of horses!
I have not had the ac on in....6 years, I like fresh air. We tried the CD player out a couple years ago, and never used it since. The wife keeps say we should use it, but she never does.

It's kinda odd, when we had only AM radios in the car and & track players we wore the tapes out. Now with AM, FM, XM and all the other power sucking equipment I have only used the. CD player once or twice.
