I just found out that our great friend, Evan Cork, died this morning after being diagnosed just a few weeks ago, with stage 4 cancer. This to us is a sudden loss to a friend we had just spent a great tour with in Indiana.
Please keep those in his club and family in your thoughts.
Tom
We met Evan on one of Dave Houson's tours about 5 years ago and spent a wonderful day with him on a fire road rather than staying with the main group of cars. That day was very special and certainly a high light of our trip. Hearing this will make that memory even more special.
Evan is a good friend of mine. He stayed at my place during the FLORIDA WINTER TOUR held in Crystal River, Fl. one yr. He had a garage across the street from The "MODEL T GARAGE" in Wallace, In. where the "Covered Bridge Tour" visited each yr.
Nick Ellingwood is related to him and owns the Model T Garage.
May he rest in peace.

My condolences to those who knew him.
Here he can be seen in a video together with his cousin Nick Ellingwood: http://www.wthr.com/clip/11849792/only-in-indiana-model-t-town
Thanks Roger for finding the video. That will be a great reminder of who he was and his love of the hobby.
Oh, that's terrible news. I have visited his garage many times on the Covered Bridge Tour. What an awful loss.
This is very sad news. Even was a good man and a wonderful Model T'er. Our sympathy to his family, he will be missed.

Nick and Evan looked after us on our first Florida Tour in 2007. They made sure to show us the ropes and helped us keep our car running throughout the tour. We have done the Covered Bridge tour several times and always looked forward to touring their garages.
Evan always had the soft ice cream machine going with all the accessories, like carmel and chocolate coverings.
It was always fun to see what he was working on and which car he would bring on the tour.
A real gentleman......
Sad day for all Model T folks. Evan will be missed.
I called Nick and got no answer. Left a message. He will know the details.
I'm sorry to hear of our loss. RIP!
A big loss to our Model T family. Evan rest in peace.
Evan was a close friend and a joy to be around. He will be sorely missed.Rest easy ole buddy.
