I have always removed the magnets to charge them. I have heard there is a way to charge them without removing them. Can someone tell how to charge the magnets without removing them please?

If you mean charging them on the bench, but still mounted to the flywheel, here is an article describing the procedure:

If you are doing in car recharge, it's works best to have the car pointing E/W. If you are pointing N/S you are fighting the earths magnetic poles.

I used this method to charge my magnets, and it worked very well. Before charging, the car ran poorly on Mag and now I can start it on Mag (although not at -11 degrees, but it is getting warmer)
