My mate Steve and I went out today to pick up a 1948 Morris 6 that he had just purchased.
To do the job, he decided to leave the 2 modern tilt tray trucks in the shed and instead use the old '70's F350.
It was (still is) a very hot day and with the windows down, it was so good listening to this mighty old girl pumping her music out the side pipes (without a balancing tube between them.)
Ya gotta tow an old girl with a suitably old-er truck where you can.
According to your license plate, your old Ford truck is a TT.
Quite the roo bar you have there !
Yes its a goodun....and needed around here.
In Canberra, just 180kms from here, we call them Pedestrian Bars.
Around here, they are for deer. They don't have enough sense to stop when they see headlights, instead, they jump towards them. They cause thousands and thousands of dollars in damage, but the conservation department keeps limiting hunting for them. As far as I'm concerned, there should be a bounty on them! JMHO. Dave
That is both a Beauty and a Beast !
Nice Rig .....
