Yes, do stay away from those spam links. They seem to hit the same few threads each time.

The miss universe one is probably a link to a spyware sales pitch. It has been all over the web this morning. Trying to sell you a $30 spyware program. If you have a firewall or other stuff you probably don't need it.

I aint cliced on it either.I just thought I would mention it in case the head knocker over the website may not know it he could go in and "fix" it so they couldnt get back in.

Kinda reminds me of that tv show where that robot flops his mechanical arms around and hollars "Danger Rill Wobenson Danger" Yep,long as you keep flailing them big arms around bud we are in danger of getting knocked in the gourd.:>)

I have deleted this spam twice today and it keeps coming back. I may just kill the whole thread.

Bruce, there seem to be two threads they keep hitting - the 1924 Roadster Seat and Lost in the Cyberspace.

Bruce,

Feel free to kill both threads ("1924 Roadster Seat" and my question which was answered in "Lost in the Cyberspace." They are located at http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/50893/50898.html?1216113054 and http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/50893/53387.html?1216113062 )

If you want the T information reposted, just let me know and I will do that. I have saved them both and can easily repost either of them for you if desired. Or if someone asks a similar question down the road, I could repost the one that was asked for then.

Thanks for all hard work and support to our hobby.

Respectfully submitted,

Hap Tucker 1915 Model T Ford touring cut off and made into a pickup truck and 1907 Model S Runabout. Sumter SC.

FIxed. Send me or Bruce an email if it happens again. He's probably tied up with the Centennial so I'll be available to fix issues.

The latest game is a trojan going by various names, including "XP Security Center," which I had a helluva' time killing. It keeps popping us a spyware alert, and it tells you to click on the popup to connect to their site and pay $50 by cc to fix it, and "to PERVENT" (their spelling) future infections.

Trend Micro Pro and Spyhunter got it under control, finally, but I resorted to doing a search for files that had been modified or new on the date it began.

It would be easy if it was just one person, but it's thousands of people, and probably not even in the US of A

Has anyone loaded AOL 9.1 and got a free virus with it? That was kind of like an intruder.
