I see that there has not been a lot said about rear end lubricants except to stay away from
GL-5 as it can damage the bronze thrust washers.
Has anyone any idea what rating the 600W gear lube from Vintique Inc. is, or any experience with it?
Are there any name brand lubes that you can recomend?
Thanks for the input.

Steve,
Have a look at "Fun Projects" website.
Some very good stuff there including exactly what you're looking for.

Hi Steve,
I use Morris oils AG-140 for my TT diff.
It is "non-EP" oil. The EP additive is what seems to erode the bronze, so I stay away from that.
Morris claim the 140 is more than good enough for an "old fashoned" 600W application. So far so good!

Fun Projects Lubriplate
I agree with Grady on the Lubriplate 140W gear oil.
I also use it in the universal joint, I believe it lubricates better that grease....... hey, it all pushes out after a while.
