I'm putting together a video of a bunch of old T photos. It will be available to anyone that wants it when I'm done.
If you have any pictures "back in the day" with the following features, please email them to me. My address is craigsutton427 at yahoo.com. Just replace at with @. You can post them here but they need to be pretty big to look nice in the video and it's hard to keep the photo big and make the file size small. Remember, I'm looking for T pics, not general automotive stuff.
Police cars, trucks, or paddy wagons.
Farming done with T's as tractor conversions or complete vehicles driving farming equipment.
TT trucks pulling huge loads
Cars or trucks with trains next to them.
Trucks moving hay on the farm or on the road.
Any type of really neat old T shots!
I've saved all the pictures in the old photos section off this website and tried to snag as many as I saw posted in recent old photos threads, but reposts are ok! The video is actually almost halfway completed but I'm quickly running out of photos to use.
Thanks,
Craig
Thanks Chuck. I had seen those from a post the other day, some of them are great.
Haven't heard from you in a while. How are you and the roadster doing?
Craig
Hmmm....The roadster is kind of quiet these days. I'm building another (correct year) engine for next year. As for me, I'm getting closer in age to the T. I expect to catch up soon. Good luck on your picture quest.
Chuck
Craig, you might ask the poster if they are OK for you to use as they are stated as copyrighted. Either way everyone needs to scroll down thru the pictures at the link. Maybe some comments from the TT crowd on the one closed cab in a pic half way down. J
Craig,
Hope this helps, this is my Father, My Aunts & a Cousin. The car cost my Father $5 the photo was taken about 1932 on the small farm in Wyandotte MI.
Sorry for the fuzziness, still learning how to work the scanner.
Alex
Thanks Alex, you can probably find a menu for your scanner. You are looking for "dpi" which is dots per inch. You'll want a couple hundred for a good clear image. Anything too high (you can probably set it in the thousands) will take forever to scan, save, etc and may even lock your computer.
Craig
Would you like good scans of these 1924 pix of my parents?
Found this one at the flea market at North Versailles near Pgh PA-Howard
