Hi Guys
My guess is most of you did not know these existed much less actually seen one.
Tractor Unit Ignition Coil
These were used in the first two years of Fordson Tractor production. The "Tractor Unit" mark is branded or engraved on the narrow side of the coil box without contacts. In many cases there is also a single digit number stamped near this mark. They used a different internal capacitor and point contacts.
Soon thereafter Ford standardized on a single ignition coil to be used in both the Model T's and Tractors.
I get these in the shop periodically and save them to make up sets of four for the Fordson Tractor crowd.
