What length and thread size are the bolts that attach the wishbone to the engine pan on a 1912 touring car? These do not use studs and springs, am I correct on that? I put these parts in several boxes when I disassembled the car and did not label them. thanks

Kelly, Rather than answer your question directly, I will tell you that when I asked this question about my 1912 a couple of years ago I got another answer.

Don't use the bolts unless you're going for class judging. Instead use the spring and stud kit. Everyone insisted this is a better setup for the vehicle.

Right off the top of my head I'd say it's 3/8x1 NC. Unless you have original bolts, you are going to have to drill a hole through the bolt head for the safety wire. An easy way to gauge the depth of the hole, is to stick a piece of wire into the pan with the cap on it, and then measure that distance, and that will tell you the exact depth. Just make sure the bolt won't bottom out.
