Wondering if anyone has used a later vaporizer type intake manifold upside down to mount an accessory carburetor.

Sorry about posting again, but I did it right before the change over to 2016 and thought it might have gotten lost in the shuffle.

If you use a standard exhaust manifold you can mount the vaporizer intake upside down which will do two things. This will place the carb low enough that gravity feed will work with the 26 and 27 cars. Also, if the carb ever spills a little gas it won't get onto an exhaust manifold that could be red hot at some point in time.

Interesting .. thanks. Any pictures of this? I was thinking of mounting a conversion flange to allow installing an up draft carburetor.
