Hi - did the 1925 Fordor ever have the 1926/27 ( coil box in engine compartment ) nine made at the factory? Thanks

If it had 1925 sheet metal, no if it's late 25 with 26/27 sheet metal probably. Do you have holes in the bulk head to mount the box? To change the box you will also need the proper wiring harness and new spark plug wires to do the job along with box and lid.

If your 25 Fodor was made after July 31st 1925 the it is really a 26. Does your firewall have the holes for a dash mounted coil box? If not it is probably a 26.
The Fodor is the only improved car that the gas tank did not move from under the front seat.
