Why ? At 05 mph, no one is going to fall off !!!

And you have to factor in that before 1980, people actually used common sense and
everyone did NOT need helmets and a safety specialist to ensure no violations were
happening.

Yeah, but when Ma walks into her dining room and see all her good table chairs missing, there's gonna be a tornado loose!!
So, you figure this is a group of Rainbow Girls? Looks like some kind of lodge or club group.

Judging from the staffs they are all holding, I think they're on the way to audition for the role of Little Bo Peep. :-)

Don't think that's a Ford TT.

Showed the picture to Linda & she's not certain if it is or isn't Rainbow Girls (she was one). But notice the fabric panel on the side the nowadays would be a sign, we think its a modesty panel, since there is nothing on it.

Yup, it's a TT. If you blow the picture up a bit, you can see the coilbox with the switch mounted on it, the e-brake cross shaft, the radius rod on the left and a bit of the running board bracket. Dave

All I know is that Mom is really mad because she is missing 4 chairs from the parlor and she has ladies coming to tea this afternoon!

It looks a bit like a "Blossom Parade" that is held in Hastings in September each year. Hawke's Bay is on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand and is becoming quite famous for the "Art Deco" celebrations in February each year commemorating the disasterous earthquake of 3 Feb 1931.
