1923 TOURING: I hope I am naming these parts correctly. I am talking about the braces that attach to the front of the frame (3 holes)both sides and mate up with the fender eye bolts. For some reason I thought they would be threaded on the outboard end. But when I dug thru my parts stash, I found 4 or 5. The ends were all beat up, but I found no threads. So now I must think that the outboard end of these braces fit thru the eye bolts. Am I wrong or right?
Thank you--Paul

In this 2011 thread Dan Treace posted pictures showing how the front end of pre '26 front fenders are fastened: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/179374/254044.html?1324154805
