Received an email from: "service" Subject: "Pay Pal Dispute Resolution process." They maintain there is a discrepancy and they have decided in favor of the buyer for a certain sum of money. Of course they want me to enter my account information to verify I am the right person. Yeah right. First I have no record of any transaction of this kind. Second I haven't sold anything via Pay Pal. I have only used it to purchase items. I forwarded the email to Pay Pal.

Hello Gary: I have had several times notices that my Paypal will be locked/Blocked unless I update my information. So when I get anything that has the words Paypal on it I send it to Paypals as the emails look like the real ting. I don't take chances.
Watch out

Any emails from them that do not contain YOUR name, are spam trawling for YOUR information.

Gee, the past two weeks I have had notices from I think six different people saying they had sent me a bit over two thousand dollars through PayPal, and that PayPal would like for me to withdraw the money quickly.
I didn't open any of them.

However, $2000 times six would be almost half enough to maybe get that model N that is available?? If a few more people would add to it??

I get some PlayPal notices occasionally. If they are truly from PayPal, the email will contain your registered full name. If it's a generic notice (no name), I just delete it.

I've been getting a rash of email account update and messages pending notices. They don't specify what email account and the pending messages are from sites I don't use or never heard of.

I haven't received any money or lottery notices in a long time. My ISP traps a lot of that garbage and the fake emails usually get trapped in my Junk email folder.

report it to Paypal security.. they do follow up on spammers.. I always look at the senders e-mail address, you can always tell it fake..any important messages go on your Paypal account and it should show up there

Don't bother with e-mails from Pay Pal. In your e-mail account that is. Don't open them either. Go to your account and if there's messages there you can look/take care of business. There might not be however so check PP first.
