It is later art work. No crank showing. The crank should be up- right on the early 09s. Has a top and windsheild. Many of the two lever 09s were delivered without a top or windshield. Running board looks smoth as it should be. Short radiator neck.

Hey Darel, I think you could put the crank straight down as well, so it would stay in both straight up and down positions as placed :-)

When the front of the engine was changed as the water pump disappeared after the first 2,500, there weren't space for the mechanism that held the crank still, so the rest of the T's came with it dangling free unless you put some strap that held it - or a strategic screw as Fast Frank has showed us :-)
