Perhaps they should rename our club the Model T Speedster Club of America. The past three years have be almost nothing but speed equipment, racing cars and so on. How about something on real Model T's? Back when McCalley was editor, we had some good stuff, and even Jay did a good job in the beginning.
Hi Larry, Variety is the Spice of Life! A good mix keeps things interesting for everyone, that why we all need at least 3 Ts (3 is a collection)!
Jay can only do so much, and part of what he has to do is publish what he has to choose from. I wish I had time to write submit more articles. I like speedsters well enough but in moderation like all things.
Larry, I just went through the last 6 issues of the VF. Vol.50 number's 1 thru 6 and could find no issues with anything pertaining to speedsters. Maybe I missed something. Thanks for posting this thread however because it gave me an incentive to read again the great articles and tips contained in each volume. Harv.
I like the content but have bolt received a copy yet this year. Is there someone I should contact?
Tim
That last post should have said I haven't received a copy in 2016 & only one copy back in the late summer or very early fall of 2015. Tim
Royce is on target here. The editors can't just make it all up themselves. They have to rely on members to submit material. They can't print what they don't get. If you want to see something else in the magazine, get busy.

Well stated Mr. Jelf
I got mine yesterday and haven't taken the time to read it yet. But the cover photo of Ed Archer and his wife in their speedster is fantastic!
Skimming the Table of Contents, I see only one article about speedsters. That doesn't seem like too many to me, even though I'm not particularly interested in speedsters.
I agree Mike, although speedsters aren't my thing, I can appreciate the work and creativity that goes into everyone. I also enjoyed the cover photo of Ed and his wife and love those matching fur coats. Harv.
Yes, an excellent cover photo. It's not only a great picture, but also fits the VF cover format perfectly.
Bob R.,, I always say variety is the spice of life too. My wife always agrees, following with , as long as it's not with women! lol
Sometimes I miss my X wife.
Sometimes I missed my X wife too...That's why I had to back the car up and try again!
Who knew she could jump so fast
What are the magazines like these day as I have not read one in a few years now, I just throw them in the book case and dont open them any more as it was going down hill with all the adds and rally reports band dont tell me to send in items as I did with photos and they never were printed so I just lost interest but I do have a full collection.
oh no, I'm working on an article for the VF now about.... speedsters
Very nicely done. I really like the picture on the cover. Those Archers drive all over the place in their speedster. I see them at many meets on the west coast and good to read about their trip to Calgary. Although the car is a speedster, we can all learn something about the wheel problem they had. It could happen to any T.
