I recently was given a Ford Owners manual. The publishing date on the title page is 1914.
Were these year specific? In other words, was a new edition published every year? If not, any idea what years they were published and how many versions exist?
Could not find a past thread on the topic.
Here is that past thread on these manuals.
Thank you Dan.
The "Model T Tools" packing list show a "Book of Instructions." Is that the same thing as the "Instruction Book"?
What about the "Ford Manual"? Was that also included with the toolkit? If not, how was it obtained by the owner of the new car? Did the owner have to pick up one from the dealer? Was one included with the new car, separately from the toolkit?
The Ford Manual is not the owners manual. It is kind of an early version of the Ford Service Book.
The owners manual is smaller.
