I had the same thoughts as Ken as to what the cap is made of. The inside lid looks like die cast but the outside looks like plated brass? No matter what though, That IS a nice radiator cap!

Thanks guys. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the body and lid appear to be cast. I threw in another clearer shot of the graphics on the lid.

I grew up close to the Hershey/Palmyra area where this was made which makes it even more special to me.
