A friend was offered a 1924 touring car from a friend of his and was asked to make an offer. The car is a very presentable 60's restoration. It has some expected checking in the paint. The top and interior are in very good shape. The car runs and drives good. It has a 26/27 transmission and a flat tube radiator. What should a reasonable offer be? Thanks again
You are talking about the most common of all Model T's. I would guess less than $10K, perhaps around $8K if it runs good?
Craig, that is an extremely difficult question to answer without an inspection....and no, you are not the first person to ask that kind of question. See:
Best answer is for your friend to watch the "sold" listings on eBay for a price range.
As always, price is determined by what a seller is willing to accept from a buyer, and sometimes "situations" govern a price.
