I've been thinking about getting a camper shell for my Tundra... now I see my error. I should be making one like the one in that photo for Rusty.
I like the idea of the round box designed to fit inside the spare tires!
Maybe just a place to wait out dust storms.
I'm restocreating a WWI Light Patrol Car that would have been used in the Middle East desert conditions and would like any information if someone has knowledge of any "desert" modifications such as air filters or condensation canisters for the radiator, etc., I would be interested.
Do you suppose that the tent cover in the back was put up at night for sleeping and is seen here in morning shortly before being packed away. Or would this be left up as a cover for whatever is being transported?
I couldn't use a spare tire tool box like that on Rusty as the Ford running board mount obstructs the area... and besides, it would obscure the neat spare mount.
