I am curious if anyone has done this, or IF it can be done?

Are they the same dimensions, or are they completely different?

Won't fit without modifications. '26-'27 boards are 6 1/4" center to center line at the mounting holes. Width is narrower on T boards. The A boards use a hidden bolt head mount, slotted hole in support brace under that all metal rubber covered board.

From Model A website:

The 1928/1929 running boards were all the same for all passenger cars. Width= 9-3/4" and length = 44-1/2". The running board braces are about 13-1/2" to 14" above the ground, depending on tire size and leaf spring condition. Mounting holes are 7-3/8" on center. -- Les Andrews, 1998 Technical Director

Interesting; So the width is very close, they are 1/2" longer and 1/2" Taller (thicker). HHmmmmmmmm

I like the look of the Model A boards with the nickel/ chrome accents along the outside edges. I like even more, the idea of having a nice rubber grip under your foot when you step on them, rather than slippery paint.
