Oh rats, I forgot about it and the day was perfect for it. Oh well, got a lot of work done on my player piano--does that make up for missing the tour?
:-)

Sanders is a real treat, their warbird restoration is amazing.

Bob,
I think for me it's too late!! BTW, the piano is playing tonight, lots of little things to work out, but IT PLAYS! (It's a Recordo expression player, so it can actually sound like a person playing, if you pump properly.)

David, there is another tour coming up closer to you on April 24 to the Sutter Buttes. All on private roads behind locked gates. We are meeting the Mid Valley Historic Vehicle Club at the Yuba Mall at 9:30 leaving at 10.

Jphn,
That will be a GREAT tour of "The World's Smallest Mountain Range;" and it's complete with an abandoned missile silo facility (shades of the cold war). I'll be in touch if I can go--the better half is working that day.
T'ake care!
David D.

Looks like a great turn out and a wonderful tour. Would really like to attend the next one if we could get an invite.

Was this a "shakedown" for another longer upcoming tour or just a cool name?

Gene, this tour is an annual event in April. We call it the Gil Machado Memorial Shake Down Tour. Gil was one of the original founders 0f the club. Gil,s daughter, Susie chairs this every year. We usually invite the Sac Valley Club. For the shake down you should already checked your car out especially if it has sat for the winter. But you know how T's are, if it can go wrong it will!
You are welcome to come up North anytime and tour with us. Just check our website and calendar.
