The Silver Streak has arrived! John and Carmen Butte delivered the Silver Streak to the MTFCA Museum during a snowstorm today. Henrys Hoosiers club members helped set up the exhibit which will run thru the first week of August. The Silver Streak is a 1926 touring that 20 girls from Bradford, Illinois used to travel around the country over a period of 8 years in the late 1930s and early 1940s. John is the son of one of the girls that participated in these trips and will be at the Richmond Homecoming June 2,3 and 4. This is one event you won't want to miss!
Jerry, That sounds great! We'll be there for sure.
Snow in April ?
Sounds like Richmond ....
There is a great article about the Silver Streak in the March/April Vintage Ford. John has also written a book about the girl's travels.
