A few years back someone was making new hubs for a 1910 straight rear axle with 5 1/2 diameter flange. Are they still available? I want a pair, new or nice originals. An help would be appreciated.

Stephen,

Darel's car was built before June of 1910 so he needs the smaller 5 1/2" hubs. The link you gave was for a later 1910 or early 1911 hub with 6" diameter.

Brass car ignoramus question here:

Is the bolt circle the same between the 5 1/2" and 6" hubs? If yes, maybe the Lang's hubs could be cut down to work.

If not, the bolt holes could be welded up, new holes drilled and shaped, then the flanges cut down. A lot of work, but if you really need new hubs... :-)
