I am trying to reinstall the emergency brakes on a 1926 touring car. The car came with the brakes not connected once the rocky mt brakes were installed. Some parts were included. I'm trying to determine what I still need. Here is the question. Does the brake cam connect directly to the brake rod? In looking at langs and other suppliers, I see a brake lever that connects the cam and brake rod for cars up to 1925. I do not see such a connector part for 1926. Thanks to all who have answered the probability obvious questions I've asked so far.
The brake rod has a split y yoke that holds a clevis pin. The rod end goes to the lever.
Rick- there is a present thread on this forum that does not concern your problem but good 'ol Dan posted a photo that shows the e-brake rod connecting to the rod that attaches to the brake cam. This is what he is referring to in his post.
