Great picture.. Tim
These were the days when they had those signs on stores that just said DRUGS. You don't see that anymore, why
I get so sick, every place u look is an advertisement stuck on everything.
I stopped watching NASCAR not only for advertising, but other rules and regulations
For whatever reasons, I was really in tune with this kind of scene as they rapidly disappeared during my
childhood. I have a lot of unspecific memories of standing on board sidewalks like this in the Sierra foothills, ...
little gold mining towns, watching the world go by. It was as if I stepped into another world. We moved
away when I was 5, but even then, THAT was where I wanted to be.
Richard I agree with you.I stopped watching NASCAR as it's not real racing. They decide basically who wins, to their advantage. One way is by constantly massaging the rules. IMHO.
When they stopped racing real cars that anyone could buy is when it became a bore to me.
I agree.
And now I hear they're going to put "sponsors" on football uniforms!!
Glad I don't watch football (nor NASCAR)!
