I purchased a very large lot of Model T parts and in a box was this head. Can anyone give me a heads up on it. Year, model.
Thanks George
Photo attached, I hope. Can't seem to reduce the pixil size.
George:
if there are 2 exhaust ports then it is the 28 chev. head that is often used in the " poor mans" Rajo conversion ...the older single exhaust port head will also work , but is somewhat more prone to heading ...hope this helps ...always an optimist...gene french
HEATING ... gotta use "pell checker"
1928 chev' the good one with higher left rockers.
Had 9ne of jerns set ups couldn't keep a head gasket sealed tight so ended up selling it wish I still had it
Bob , Did you have the steel or the aluminum adapter??? Don
Got 3 of those 28 Chevy four bangers (with heads) here. Need to quit working so I can finish a straight eight (two fours in a row).
Double exhaust ports.
Rusty bottoms.
Bent crankshafts on two of them. :-/
Need to figure out peening to straighten the shafts as they can't be bent to straight. Tried it.
George, those goofy "diffusers" still in the intake ports.... :-)
Don if memory serves it was aluminum
Bob, do you remember if it was the block side or the head side---or both, that kept blowing on you? Thinking of making my own plate out of aluminum.
