Looking forward to seeing the Ford collection and many other great autos at Invercargill New Zealand on Saturday if they are open. In Te Anau' and Milford Sound on Friday. New Zealand is fantastic place!!!
We made it as far south as Dunedin, then headed inland to Queenstown, then looped back up to Christchurch. I agree NZ is a neat place to visit. I can only speak for the South Island. Check out the seascapes at the French settlements east of Christchurch, you drive along the cliffs and view down at the sea.
Mike, The Winter Solstice Run for Model T's is on in Mosgiel on Saturday morning. About two and a half hours north of Invercargill.
After I visit the museum we are heading towards Queenstown, will you guys be along that route? Would love to see some NZ T's. Mike
I think you will be going a different way. You will enjoy Queenstown though.
Amazing!
Btw, The Anthony Hopkins movie from that area called "worlds fastest Indian" is a highly respected part of my collection of automobilia media. Nevermind that it happens to be a motorcycle. The journey is the same.
Hi mike. Hope you enjoy your trip down here, and catch up with some t's here. Nevin will know some one close to you for some kiwi T hospitality down there, if not there's the north island if you come up this way. All the best
Hello Mike, If you are coming to the east coast of the North Island you would be welcome to call by. I can show you a couple of T's. My address is on the back cover of "Vintage Ford".
Rod McKenzie.
Hello Mike, if you are coming to the north island there's a bed at our place that's usually reserved for Chris but i'm sure he wouldn't mind if you used it.
Thanks lee. Good idea, just watch the possums on the deck tho. Give you a chance to get your t out lee, or model a. Great bunch of people all over the country in the t club here. Enjoy mike
