Hi, I'm installing the interior panels in the hip area of the seat. The holes in the sheet metal seem to be random when comparing the right and left sides. I would like to make them consistent which would mean drilling holes in one or both sides of the sheet metal. Any thoughts on this? Where should the nails/brads go? This is a October '25 car.

If my memory is correct, you will not have any panel fasteners visible when installed. These nails are hidden under the upholstery and are just thru the cardboard. It has been many years since I did one of these. The placing of these fasteners should not matter.
