Looks like a Ford/LaFrance.
: ^ )
Hope it had the higher speed rear end or whatever was on fire would be burnt down by the time they got there.. "Same day service guaranteed!"
Being a firefighter in northern indiana for 30+ tears I would hope the fire wasn't out so I could warm up in mid winter when we get there
Not even windshield.
It is an American LaFrance/Ford TT fire truck. ALF called this configuration a "Type E". Looks to be a 1924-1925.
This Type E was equipped with two 25 gallon champion style chemical tanks. The same setup but with one 40 gallon chemical tank was then called a "Type C".
Always looking for parts for my Model T fire trucks and would love to find one of those 25 gallon tanks for my 16. Just found the missing 40 gallon tank for my ALF chiefs car and the correct hose basket for it. Thrilled to say the least. The Babcock No 5 fire extinguishers and the running board canisters are high on the "looking for" list also.
