Anyone out there know the bulb number or if they even make a 12 volt bulb to fit the ol sol spotlight. Its a bayonet type bulb and the 1 pin is neg. and the other is positive. # on the 6 volt bulb is 21-2cp-6-8 v. It's a type (c) the base is not a ground.
Sounds like you've got a two-filament #1158 headlight bulb in your spotlight. The 12 volt equivalent is #1176. These later changed to smaller-bulb, unfocusable (new word) brake/tail light bulbs still common today.
If you would like a double-contact, single filament 12 volt bulb, try #1142 (21 cp), or #1144 (32 cp, if your system can handle the wattage).
Greg, I think the brand is Tung-Sol. They made the Ford script bulbs for Ford back in the day.
