Can anyone identify these brackets, having a brain freeze today
the next one # 2 is a cast windshield to top clamp
it is a right or left not like Ford
# 3 is not like the Ford ones that I have seen either top bow locking saddle but for what?
# 4 this is my brain freeze, seen these a lot but can not remember
here is one more of # 2 can not make out all numbers 3--99
thank you for the forums help. Bob
#4 is I believe a sidelamp bracket for a couplet, possibly others. It's mounted pointing IN not out!
#3 have been seen on Canadian cars and/or an accessory anti-rattle device.
Thank you guys, how about # 1, Bob
#3 is typical for a Dodge Brothers and other cars, top bow clamp (for when it's folded). Inside the web is a number and usually L or R for right and left. You can see then in your pic, but can't make them out.
I will venture a guess on #1. Since the round end appears to fit Model T sidelamps and there are 4 dimples to allow the bracket to be oriented every 90 degrees around, I suggest these are aftermarket brackets made for universal use on aftermarket bodies, car and truck.
#1 side light bracket but it looks to mount on the inside of maybe the wood like huckster with flat front instead of on the outside. Note which side the mounting flat is compared to the cupped part that holds the light.
No 3 shows top bow clamps. These are for a roadster, as the centre space is not wide enough to accommodate the two middle bows on a tourer.
Allan from down under.
The # 3 brackets are as Allan stated. They were used on the Canadian open cars as well as our Australian Model T's and other makes.
