Today I picked up my roadster body from my favourite trimmer. He has done a wonderful job on the canvas top.

The side curtains fit over the windwings with no need for any adjustment.

The side curtains are in two pieces, with the clear sections giving maximum visibility.

The rear centte section folds up on the inside for cool summer motoring.

Now I have to get the motor built and sitting in the frame so I can marry the two.

Hope you like it.
Allan from down under.

Just noticed the slack in the side curtain. The two top fasteners were not done up!

Hi Alan. I'm new to this site. I suspect you have posted details of this car/body previously. If so could you post the link? Great work.

Beautiful job. How close now to being finished?

Gary, you are right about other posts as the car is being built. However, it will need someone more IT literate than me to post links to other posts. perhaps someone will chime in.
Warren, the deadline is the beginning of September so I can get some run-in miles up before a National Tour in late Sept.

Looking great Alan. Keep working hard. Not long until the rally. Cant wait to see it up close! Your trimmer does great work with that canvas. The whole package will look very sporty with those slippery lines and those nice Hayes wires.

Looking forward to seeing the finished car, the quality of all your work is amazing.

I went digging and found most of the roadster build posts.
