Found this while cruising C/L they put in a modern engine but it looks like they kept the 26 suspension drive train and brakes, seems scary to me! Maybe a thrill ride.

looks like a good job to me, but would like to see wire wheels& some good brakes.. charley
Some pictures with natural spokes and silver rims - others with black spokes and green rims.
Face it, boys and girls ... ANY of these T's is a death trap if things go wrong in modern traffic.
Operator skill plays a fair role in risk reduction, but everyone else out there .... it's a roll of the dice.
What a sleeper. Man you could pull up to most T drivers and ask them to put some money on who's car is fastest. and them 'smoke them'.
Nicely done as far as it goes.... brakes are a big big question though. Says auto trans so trns brake is out. Maybe (hopefully) hydros on the rear drums?
Must have a matching late rear end, wheel hubs are bolted on.
At least the crankshaft won't break and the bands should be good for life........
Terry, have you ever driven a 2.3 LITRE FORD? Not a lot of power in the little Mazda motor.
