We stayed overnight in Mora via a road trip to Duluth last Saturday night.

Hello Lance, I haven't seen you around much lately. I hope all is well.

I was just in Mora couple days ago. I've never understood what kept that town going. There's no logging anymore, I doubt any things ever been mined around there. There might be a few old dairy farms around. Not much for tourism or industry. All its ever been is a wide spot in the road between the Twin Cities and "up nort" where highway 23 crosses highway 65.

But Mora continues on and though I can't say it flourishes, it survives. It's a very friendly town. Years ago Toby's restaurant was the place to stop to eat.

Thanks for asking Michael and Wayne. It's been 3 years and 4 months (whose counting) since my double lung transplant. Last Saturday morning I did a car show with the 55 T-Bird and then in the afternoon I did a parade with the 33 Pierce Arrow. I was worn out but had a great time!
