But about thirty or forty years ago, heads were made copying the Waukesha combustion chamber, and the standard Ford high head minus the original markings. Looks a lot like the late '26/'27 Ford head from the outside (except for the spark plug holes). I would imagine this is one of those. I could never really afford the cost of such upgrades, and lean toward original equipment myself anyway, so I never really followed who was making them. So, sorry I cannot tell you any names.
I think variations were made in both iron and aluminum. I recall hearing that "someone else acquired the molds" and was making "some". That is about all I remember about them.
