At first, I thought this was shot out along some isolated track with a line truck out doing service
work, but closer inspection has me thinking there is a paved road poking through the snow along
the rails and the truck (which may very well be a line truck) is just out on the snow-covered road.
The openwire telephone line to the left would support this.
Note the typical Boston-area fire alarm circuit on the two-pin top crossarm.

It looks like one of those cast iron radiators. Republic? Samson? Federal?
It's a Stewart Truck. Probably a Model 9 built in the 1915-1924 period. I've got an unrestored one sitting in the shed.
