What the heck? Is this a SCAM? Are they trying to trick somebody? Is this even LEGAL? Can you price a car for $54.00 (buy-it-now) and then tell the bidder that they actually have to pay $54,000.00? The description tries to make you think the money is going to a Tech School. What is going on here?
And I can get it sent to Australia for only $29.61US
I asked them to post a copy of the title.
Not too gooda da anglash either!
I offered them $55, haven't heard back yet...
According to the shipping calculator to ship to my zip would cost $9.45
He's broken about 6-7 different ebay rules. With the big no no, listing it for 54 bucks but expecting 54 Grand at the sale. Also listed in the collectibles category, instead of ebay motors. Its purely a way to circumvent paying any significant (if any) ebay fees. Seems a tad over priced too (sarcasm)!
The "1897 AUTOMOBILE" offered by the same seller for $164.00 would be good value if it went for that price.
The description says it has "a planetary gearbox with three brake bands". It ought to stop well.
Aubele ford is located in Germany. If the plate on the car means anything. Also this was last year's owls head auction car
SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!
Lots of obvious RED FLAGS here.
Does not look like it is located in Chicago as stated. Looks more like somewhere in Europe from the pics. As David states above, probably Germany?
The first photo is not the same T as the rest, black wheels gas lights, rest are natural wheels and electric lights.
In the 2nd pic the name of building across the road is in German. The cars parked next to the Model T in the same pic have European number plates. In one of the "1897 Automobile" pics is "Frankfurt" on the construction site banner. So, yes, Germany looks like the real location.
Not sure why someone would give negative feedback with what would be the equivalent of "excellent". 2nd feedback is in the same broken English as the ads. I think I'd be giving something better than neutral feedback if I got a Hummer for $86.00

Totally agree with Joe. Scam! Nobody who lives in Chicago uses English like that.
